I don't know about eating in the restaurant itself but I had a pizza Margherita take away: having forgotten the remote possibility that garlic was in an Italian pizza, I did not ask, and bought it. Garlic makes me sick and I absolutely have to avoid it. Anyway: the pizza had a non reassuring smell, and oregan on it. As I had a first bite... then it was already too late. We called the pizzeria to ask whether there is garlic in the pizza Margherita, they said "absolutely not", we asked furtherly: "How about the tomato sauce on it?", so they asked to somebody from the kitchen, came back and said: "Yes, there is garlic in the sauce".
