5 Saveurs — Restaurant in Bordeaux

I had high expectations for a fast food restaurant, since the rating score is pretty high. Sadly we were all a bit disappointed. I wish I could give more stars, since the waiters were very friendly 🥹

We had to wait over 30min to get our take away and they made many mistakes by mixing up the orders, so everyone had to double check their bags. We could also notice how stressed the waiters were and got angry to each other, even tho there was barely anyone when we entered around 6:45pm, which is not the busiest time.

The food itself was also not super satisfying. There were barely any vegetables (I had one mushroom and a few soybeans, 95% were noodles). The rice was very dry and the dishes were overall a bit too oily. This did not correspond to the price.

Overall I’m can’t really recommend it due to our experience but I hope that we just had bad luck that day 😅 we might give it another shot sometime 🙂

The worst food I had ever ate. I ordered wonton crevettes but sending me crevettes tempura. The noodles and the salad just have only cucumber and carrots, no pousse soja, no ciboulette , no onions rouge, lack of all vegetables in description, wasn't enough piment Sichuan at NIVEAU 3, don't marinated well the sauce at all. Doing everything COMPLETELY DIFFERENT with the description. Feeling SO DISAPPOINTED of WASTING MONEY but having try to finish these dishes to not wasting food and money I had paid. That's really nightmare...

This could easily be the BEST Asian restaurant in Bordeaux. There are many Asian restaurants nearby but 5 Saveurs (五味居) is definitely the one you have to visit.

The noodles were delicious and the crispy chicken a real delight. The rest of the dishes looked very tasty as well. Great quality/price ratio made with fresh ingredients & cooked at the moment. The staff were very kind and the service was very quick.
