Updated 25-Aug 2025: Expectations met again, this time lunch in summer. And I raised service to five stars as it was exceptional. The four of us sat upstairs, preferred because the area is roomier. We chose the ‘menu du marché’, very reasonably priced. Flavors of each dish chosen were extraordinary. If you take the time to really taste each bite (like you would if wine tasting) layers of flavors are revealed. Bravo chef Baumard and staff!

Very nice lunch at chef Alexandre Baumard’s newer restaurant. (He was previously at Logis de la Cadène in Saint-Émilion and L'Observatoire du Gabriel in Bordeaux. Choose the menu of the day (entree and plat… starter and main dish) for just 32€. Extremely tasty, very nice service, and an elegant yet low-key ambiance. We...

From the moment you step into the restaurant you feel a certain known high quality feeling. Welcoming, friendly and perfection oriented service. The 4 course menu we had was remarkable. Very impressive makerele, which is normally to intensive in taste, but meets the right balance here. Probably the Aloe Vera does it's job. The highlight was the "onion', wow. The aperitif wine selection and the wine pairing matched very well to the course, as well were delicious. As a tourist, I would have prefered a bit stronger focus on regional wineries exclusively. Great experience and superb value price ratio.

The well knwon feeling clears up, when we have learned that the majority of the team started their own dream after working in a 1 Michelin...

Amazing lunch & the value is mind bogglingly good. My ravioli was perfect and the sauces in our entrees I resisted the urge to lick the plates clean, luckily they hook up the bread! Dessert was a Michelin rated snickers bar!!

Just a heads up for Americans, there were a few moments when the staff seemed condescending. Our primary server who took our order scoffed at my girlfriend's pronunciation of champagne. We both loved our younger server but both disliked our...
