Updated 25-Aug 2025: Expectations met again, this time lunch in summer. And I raised service to five stars as it was exceptional. The four of us sat upstairs, preferred because the area is roomier. We chose the ‘menu du marché’, very reasonably priced. Flavors of each dish chosen were extraordinary. If you take the time to really taste each bite (like you would if wine tasting) layers of flavors are revealed. Bravo chef Baumard and staff!

Read moreFrom the moment you step into the restaurant you feel a certain known high quality feeling. Welcoming, friendly and perfection oriented service. The 4 course menu we had was remarkable. Very impressive makerele, which is normally to intensive in taste, but meets the right balance here. Probably the Aloe Vera does it's job. The highlight was the "onion', wow. The aperitif wine selection and the wine pairing matched very well to the course, as well were delicious. As a tourist, I would have prefered a bit stronger focus on regional wineries exclusively. Great experience and superb value price ratio.
