Hands down the best pasta carbonara I’ve ever had. Our server was an old fella who sounded like he’d been smoking 2 packs a days since he was 8. The nicest man. He didn’t speak any English and we didn’t speak any French, but we laughed and communicated perfectly. My girlfriend and I shared a tiramisu, which was delightful! The decor is also something to write home about. Hello gorgeous wallpaper! Beautiful hunter green walls. Gold sconces. Cute wooden chairs. I wish I’d taken more photos. It’s a tiny perfect gem. Absolutely wonderful restaurant - great food, great service, and a great time! My family and I came here after a day of exploring Bordeaux - we'd passed this restaurant on the way out for the day, and were passing it on the way back to our hotel, and decided to give it a go. A great choice! The waitress was patient and friendly, especially for 4 english-speakers with limited French. We’ve just had the pizza and it’s so good! Crust is on the thinner side (our preference), nice selection of pizza, they don’t over do it on the cheese, meaning its not an oily mess. Had an egg added to our “Parma” pizza- yum! Just enough of every topping. And very affordable, great value for what you get. Also have pasta dishes, a few salads and other items.
