BUTTER CHICKEN FACTORY — Restaurant in Bordeaux

First impression was not good, the young guy serving showed zero interest in what he was doing, felt like he was doing me a big favour just taking my order. It looked like food would be served in takeaway cartons, it is mainly takeaway after all. But I was eating outside on the terrace. My food arrived quickly served on the terrace with a smile! (By a different person) nice crockery and proper cutlery! And it was truly delicious and nicely presented on the plate, just like a proper restaurant! My curry wasn’t hot-spicy (we’re in France after all!) but it was really tasty with all of the mild tasting spices you’d hope for. Arrived late in Bordeaux by train and we were very hungry. Being so tired, we decided to look for a place to eat near our hotel by the station. After looking in the 2 or 3 restaurants about, nothing looked appetising and each were pricey. Then I remenbered seeing Butter Chicken somewhere near the station. And thank goodness we found it! They served the best "fast-food" that tasted of home cooking. We had a full tummy of very tasty butter chicken for a very very reasonable price. And service was also good and friendly. Highly...

Indian food in Paris is not great, but with 4.7 stars, I had hope for this place while visiting Bordeaux. The butter chicken tastes like it has mayonnaise in it. The Naan was more like a tortilla. It was fast and filling, but I regret not going to the 3 minute pizza place instead. If you have had Indian food in England or the US, and you like it there, choose another cuisine...
