Le Terminus — Restaurant in Bordeaux

The waiter took ages to come and take my order. I knew what I wanted, salade Landaise. All I really saw was foie gras on toast on the menu description. I wasn’t very hungry so decided even that alone would be fine. It arrived with lots of meat which I thought was duck, and ate a piece, as I noticed the pieces were strange shapes. Gésiers, they were gizzards, not a favourite of mine 😂. The toast was very briefly shown the grill, but still it was lovely. Just the job. The gésiers were strong smelling, so didn’t enjoy that bit as I was eating the toast foie gras, and salad that was clear of the gésiers 😂Yes indeed my fault completely for not reading the menu correctly😉 My plate wasn’t being cleared, so I just walked...

Very terrible experience.We suffered DISCRIMINATION in this restaurant. The manager rejected providing a bottle of tap water for us while they did provide tap water to some customers. Btw it is a law in France to enforce cafe to offer customers free water. In additiom, the waiter requested us to pay the bill in a rude way while we even haven't finished half of our food. The gentleman that looked after us well, just didn't! We were not made to feel welcome and we were treated as an inconvenience. We had dined at the place next door and enjoyed our experience with them. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. We like to try out as many places as possible so after walking round Bordeaux this place in on our way back to the Hotel we stopped off for some drinks.
