The male staff was very rude to us - maybe he doesnt like english people! We asked for 'un café' and he made out like we were asking for something crazy and that we wanted to eat coffee. Seemed baffled at the idea that we didn't want a big meal and just some Croissants and a cheese plate, ended up not getting the Croissants anyway. 3 cheeses and some bread with some sad lettuce - no huge complaints on the food but we were definitely made to feel unwelcome. Atmosphere is great if you like constant beeping of buses and taxis at the train station.

No menu’s handed around, the full menu was on your place mat. Very Covid-19 compliant. The food and service is top notch here, I could see all the dishes being served by Benjamin. Read moreI have never had such an overcooked steak in France. I asked for steak à point, and it arrived très (trop) bien cuit. My partner asked for his moyen and it was totally burnt.
The staff overheard us complaining and avoided us so we could not tell them during our meal.
The bread is not fresh, light French bread. It was very heavy and stodgy.
The frites, on the other hand, are absolutely fantastic.
