Café Joyeux — Restaurant in Bordeaux

We selected Café Joyeux as it was out of the main center of Bordeaux and next to the river. We didn’t know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the lunch and the service. This cafe employs staff with mental disabilities and under careful supervision they prepare and bring your order to you, all with a smile and feeling good about themselves when people thank them. What a change to see. We went for the lunch menu which consisted of a starter, a simple main, or main and a pastry plus a drink. The gazpacho soup is the best starter, and the Croque Monsieur vegetarian and a vegetable tartin were both very good. We would pass on the pastry for dessert and go for the soup next time. Je commande un coca zéro et une limonade (artisanale, mentionne l'ardoise). Je paye 8.50€ au lieu de 8€... J'indique qu'il y a une erreur car c'est 4€ chaque boisson. Je sors et je regarde sur l'ardoise extérieure pour bien vérifier et je confirme à nouveau, pendant que le "manager" qui m'avait encaissé et à qui j'ai fait remarqué l'erreur m'indique le prix mentionné à l'intérieur qui était à 4.50€ ( donc plus cher que sur l'ardoise extérieure....). Évidemment, j'insiste en disant que c'est 4€. Le manager me répond "et pour 0.50€ ça vous,... Ça vous....." Franchement ! Limite on me fait culpabiliser de réclamer mon dû !... Ensuite, on nous sert en terrasse et on a eu droit à une limonade ogeu... On est loin de la limonade artisanale comme indiqué sur l'ardoise... Bref, juste pour boire un verre, on est loin de ressortir joyeux devant une telle mauvaise foi. Et pour info, lorsqu'il y a deux prix différents pour un même produit, on applique le prix le plus bas au client, sans le faire culpabiliser et en s'excusant en général. On était...
