L'Intendance — Restaurant in Bordeaux

The food is good. Prices are for some dishes ok, for other dishes too expensive. But the worst was the service, it has a lot of room for improvement. We were 4 people and ordered at the same time 4 main dishes and the side dishes. After 10-15 minutes the waiter brought 3 main dishes and the side dishes. When we asked what happened with the missing main dish, answer was that it was finish. We were astonished 😳. Why did the bring then only the side dish? If food is finish, then this should be communicated at the beginning, when we set the order, not when 3 people start to eat and the 4th just gets a side dish and has to look. They served us food from Burger King across the street! We Ordered an 18 Euro “Madame Burger” and this place gave us a Burger King burger and slapped an egg on it! How do we know they served us a BK burger and their burger doesn’t just closely resemble a BK burger? Well: 1) We legit saw a grubhub deliverer go to a side door and hand over a BK brown bag to the wait staff, 2) We went to BK after our meal and got a burger to verify they looked and tested he same (minus the egg), 3) We are American and have had too many BK burgers in our lifetimes to know one when we see one, 4) We asked the chef where the burger came from and got the reply “Somewhere in France but I’m not sure where but definitely...

Indifferent service. Took a bit to get the correct info. Menu on table top (code) not the correct tapas menu. Menu on carte was not the correct tapas menu. Only tapas available were listed on small board on wall. Our first waiter was a bit brusque about this and also pretty much with his overall service. The guy who finished up for us and cashed us out (not our waiter) was nice and helpful. Overall it was not a terribly fun afternoon drink experience for a couple glasses of wine and bite.
