Fantastic service and food. We do not know french, and the server guided us through all of our food options and was so patient. He also assisted us in picking a Bordeaux wine to pair nicely with our dinner. The burrata starter was fresh and light, but plenty for two people to share. The bread was the softest we've had served with a meal in France. I had the lamb, which was cooked perfectly and came with a delicious demiglaze that really complimented the dish. My husband had the veal, which was also excellent with a truffle-mushroom sauce that really elevated his dish. We finished with the profiteroles, and they were decadent but still light. We had a very unique experience at La Table de l’Epicier. Not only was the food of extremely high quality, beautifully prepared and tasty - better than in a Michelin Guide restaurant - but the waitresses were also very friendly and helpful. It was so delicious that we went there for lunch and again for dinner. The waitress at lunch explained everything in a detailed manner and gave us recommendations. She even spoke Spanish and English to us, to make sure we understood everything. And the waitress in the evening gave us good wine recommendations and made sure everything was satisfactory. An Excellent Surprise! La Table recently opened (June2020). The chef did a fantastic job renovating the space which is now a restaurant with a small wine area (nice mixed selection, reasonable prices), and small selection of miscellaneous food items.

Our lunch was delicious and meticulously plated. The best lamb I’ve had in Bordeaux, as well as excellently cooked Merlu. Entre, plat and dessert for 21€. Definitely on my 'favorite Bordeaux inventive restaurant’ list. Great prices, high...
