A cute wine bar that serves their own bread to the great selection of charcuterie, cheeses and more. It is a litte off the usual „food streets“ of inner city Bordeaux, which we found to be nice. We had the exceptionally tasty selection of charcuterie with a side of home made pickles and a few different kind of bread. All things were quite reasonably priced, specially regarding the quality. The host was really friendly and spoke to us in English as our French is nonexistent 😭 The charcuterie and fromage table we tried was superb! She makes the bread (all kinds!) in-house, which also super tasty, and she also toook the time to recommended some wines that were delicious. It was SO good we returned to make this our last stop in Bordeaux before catching the train back to Paris, and in my opinion it beats the fancier wine museum/degustation place by the Opera (we were there and ran here after 3 glasses). My son and i had just arrived in Bordeax on the tram and we got off and turned onto a street and then found another dark quiet street leading off that and found this place, how lucky we were, a very kind patron ( my childhood french had been beaten out of my mind by the journey) and the best lunch i Have ever had, amazing bread, fantastic cider, great charcuterie.
