J’ai dîné à L’hirondelle autour d’assiettes de spécialités du sud de la Chine. C’était assez bon même si tous les plats ne se valaient pas. J’ai adoré le poulet croustillant au piment et coriandre, juste ce qu’il fallait d’épices pour avoir ce petit boost capsaïcine. Nous avons aussi partagé le porc Yuxiang, que j’ai trouvé trop sucré, ainsi que les aubergines, qui avaient exactement le même assaisonnement. Mention pour les nems faits maison, pas toujours le cas dans les restaurants sud-est asiatiques. Concernant les prix : un poil élevés, mais je suppose que c’est l’assurance du fait maison. Les formules menus ont l’air plus abordables que le à la carte. Il ne manquerait plus qu’une grande terrasse pour les beaux jours qui arrivent et ça serait parfait !

Lovely husband and wife duo serving authentic Chinese cuisine. The beef with chili peppers & oyster sauce is amazing as well as the steamed fish with ginger and soy sauce. Ask for a recommendation if you're not sure what to order. Highly recommend!

Epic authentic Hunanese/Szechuan food in an intimate mom and pop restaurant. From the hot and sour soup to the fish in hot chili broth. Truly awesome dinner, highly recommended for anyone who likes authentic Chinese food and spicy flavours.

The food is superb! Lots of ‘wok Hei’! We tried the Mei Chye Kuo rou - was so delicious. The brinjal claypot was also heavenly!
