🤬🤬🤬Extremely Disappointing Experience
We were a group of three (my wife was pregnant) and walked 20 minutes to reach this restaurant, only to be turned away in the rudest way possible. Nowhere online does it say that a reservation is required, so we came in as walk-in customers. The restaurant was almost empty — only four people dining and at least seven or eight tables free.
The server looked at us with a strange, almost disgusted expression, and told us that since we were walk-ins, he could “only” seat us outside on the terrace — despite it being freezing cold. He clearly saw that I’m pregnant, yet showed zero courtesy or basic decency.
When we asked if we could make a reservation on the spot (since there were plenty of open tables and available booking slots online), he said it still wouldn’t be possible and that even with a reservation, he’d “still propose outside.” It was rude, dishonest, and completely unprofessional.

We had such a lovely evening at Peppe Pizzeria Boulogne! We shared two delicious pizzas, a bottle of Chianti, cheese sticks to start, and even managed to fit in dessert – though we definitely ate too much! Everything was tasty and full of flavour.
It was my birthday, so the meal felt extra special. I especially liked sitting outside – the atmosphere there is really nice and relaxed.
I’d heard Peppe had been awarded best pizza in the world, and after trying it, I can see why! The crust was perfect, and the toppings were fresh and balanced.
The staff were friendly – our waitress didn’t speak English but was welcoming, smiling throughout, and even offered us a limoncello to finish, which was such a lovely touch.
Overall, a great experience and a perfect place for a special evening. Highly...
Read moreTruly hurtful experience I rarely ever write reviews, but this experience genuinely left me upset. I walked 20 minutes to get to this restaurant with two friends. The place was almost empty — several tables available — yet the waiter looked at us with clear disdain and said that as walk-ins, we could only sit outside in the freezing cold. He could clearly see we have a pregnant lady with us, but showed zero compassion or courtesy.
When we asked if we could make a reservation on the spot, he dismissively said it wouldn’t be possible and that even with one, we’d still have to sit outside. His tone and attitude were so rude and demeaning that we just walked out. I left feeling humiliated and honestly hurt — no one deserves to be...
