O 'Cafe-rest'O — Restaurant in Briançon

Unfortunately I hadn’t read the other negative reviews before going here. So first off they wouldn’t allow my friend to join us — we were a group of four and three of us ordered main dishes and a drink. We weren’t sharing dishes, he’d just already eaten and so wanted to sit with us and have a drink. Restaurant was mostly empty. Such a bad policy! They lose nothing. Waitress made a mistake with my order. Small portion sizes, overpriced, although food didn’t taste bad. Still, definitely a place to avoid and that doesn’t deserve to be in business. Owners should really ask themselves why so many people leave them so many...

Terrible food & service. Barely arrived they pushed us to choose the food. Very rude and unfriendly waitress and owner. Not family friendly as we asked for an option for our child - no option. Soggy and oily french fries. Meat described as XL - it is not. Also not cooked as ordered. Don’t go there.

Update regarding the owners answer: we barely touched our plates and we were not with friends there… so kind of a weird answer from the owner, which they seem to give to any bad reviews. See for yourself. Our review is consistent...

Lovely and cosy restaurant. Meats were cooked really well, fries were a bit greasy but we could live with that. Nice welcome!

Why only 2 stars? After getting to our hotel we decided to check the receipt and the restaurant made a mistake, they put a soda worth 38€ on it. Obviously a mistake but...
