Really nice experience and on the whole better than I expected. We couldn't book and needed to wait for a table but we had a drink at the terrace while we waited. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant describes itself as a tapas small plate sharing sort of experience but in reality given how the menu was that day in our case we ended up have a more classic entrée plat dessert after a little bit of thinking how best to do it for our table. I had noix de saint jacques for the starter and a turbot for the main. Beautifully cooked, melt-in-your-mouth delicious and with a few touches in the sauce which made it their own. The dessert I've forgotten the name of but it was a chocolatey thing which had a similar level of attention to detail as the mains. Fairly reasonable price as well, not too expensive. If I were in Collioure again I wouldn't hesitate...

We were waiting for our turn in front of the restaurant. Which is fully understandable. But the friends of the waitress who came after us got the table first. By than we were still waiting. The waitress was unpolite each time she talked to us. Finally it came our turn. We took the seat outside. After we have seated, and waited for the menu, the girl came, pointed with her finger at the blackboard behind us and said " only cold now, understood?" Meaning that we can only order the cold snacks, not the meals. So we just stood up and went away . I do not expect much but basic in case you want to spend your money. The girl during the conversation with us in any moment did not use words commonly known as polite( thank you, excuseme, etc even though my husband speaks fluent french). I felt like she was doing a favour to us every single of few moments she payed...

Me and my wife were there on a nice afternoon. We liked the longer opening hours for lunch and nice setting on the beach. The food was good but we had a bit better pulpo for half the price.

What prompts the 1* review is the poor character of the staff. When we came back later to use the restroom (and my wife is highly pregnant ) they refused in a very rude manner, claiming they were already closed when clearly they were not. We had never experienced with any restaurants on this vacation since a week now . This is the only time the staff being so rude and unhelpful , even for their guests ! In other restaurants they allowed us to use the bathroom even without consuming immediately. How Chez Simome behaves is not what a good hospitality should be and treat their guests! :( We really regret to have...

This restaurant was our first meal in Collioure and so excellent we returned the next day as well. The mussels in coconut milk were so delicious and unique, service and vibe was sweet and perfect, and everything we tried was light yet decandent and honestly more sophisticated than I would have expected. I can’t imagine why there are bad reviews. If the service was a challenge maybe it was super busy or high season, we visited in late March and loved the quietness of the town and the beautiful views and decandent seafood. Do not miss this place. Treat yourself and take your time!

The stunning seaside view ⛱️🌊 and the majestic castle🏰, coupled with the exquisitely delightful cuisine and the very pleasant and welcoming staff created an unforgettable experience😌 We were a party of two and decided on the pika pika menu, complemented by a bottle of white wine (Piquemal)🍷. Later, we indulged in a superbly delicious dessert served with coffee. All of this came to just 50€ per person. I wholeheartedly recommend it! 🙋🏻‍♂️
