Pros: Nice and a quiet 3-star hotel with tidy and clean rooms. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach which is perfect too. The prices are also affordable. Cons: The breakfast menu was not very rich. It included tea/coffee/ hot chocolate, croissants, bread, butter, yogurt, and two jams. But it would be good if they added some cheese, honey, sausages, and eggs to their menu. Moreover, the prices in the restaurants around the hotel and beaches are not affordable for students. Thus, it is recommended to visit the grocery stores around (for example, "Sincere" which offers the products of Casino supermarket chains) where you can buy various products. Also, there are Casino and Carrefour Express stores not far from the hotel. Furthermore, there is one kebab cafeteria called "Au Bon Croq" not far from the hotel which has a nice meal at an affordable price. Also, the restaurant "Arcade" is somehow affordable but it is difficult to find a free table there in the evening hours. Regarding the beaches, the one which is the closest to the hotel is stony. But another one which is in the other part of the Royal Castle is sandy. It is strongly recommended to visit the Royal Castle. Nice historical place and with an excellent and picturesque view from the top. The top of the Castle is especially great for...
Read moreExcellent location, our room was small, there was a TV, WiFi is fine, but the room is pretty basic (no kettle which was a bit dramatic for us but not a game changer). Everything was clean, the shower worked well. We had a view of rooftops and the bed was super comfy. Not a terrible stay, perfectly adequate but it would have been nice to see more smiles, however, it’s the end of the season. We had a couple of drinks each night in the bar before going up and that was lovely and relaxed, we ate elsewhere but the food looked ok. Breakfast is plain, bread, croissant, jam, yoghurt, juice and coffee, you’d probably do better eating at the place across from the car park on the bridge. The town itself is a delight and there are plenty of restaurants for lunch and supper ice...
