Went to watch the all Ireland final. Arrived 20 minutes before the match at 4.10pm. Says open at 3pm. Met a staff member who said he’d see about showing the match at 5pm when he was opening but seemed disinterested. Great “irish pub” alright
update yes I have reconsidered my review. Your google opening hours stated 3pm (15.00hrs) which has now changed to 4pm(still not 5pm like you state!!) . I tried to contact your social media pages prior to confirm, no response. Quelle surprise!!! (Not really as it is in keeping with your staff response on Sunday). Tried calling you via your telephone number numerous times Friday and Sunday in the lead up and quelle surprise no answer.. You advertise Gaelic football on your social media pages and don’t show it in reality. I suggest you remove it from your page. If I could give less than one star I...

They advertised as showing Ireland v Hungary (football) but in actuality they were showing a multicast channel with no sound, that changed every 5 minutes so 2/3 of the time it was either San Marino v Bosnia or Austria v Cyprus.
Since it was the only Irish bar we could see in Caen, and they advertised on their socials that they would be showing it, we planned out our day on being able to watch this game in the evening. In the end we had to watch the game on our phones.
The food was good though and probably not a bad place to drink but if you enjoy watching sports definitely go somewhere else. I never give bad reviews but don't advertise things you don't provide, it makes you look...
Read moreCame here to watch the Ireland vs England rugby game as they advertised it on their board outside. The game could barely stream as they said there is a problem with the chromecast used to stream amazon prime. They knew about this problem as they said that its always like that. Don't advertise an Irish rugby game if you know you can't play it.
EDIT: after seeing the response below, I went back. The game played for 1 minute and then switched to a football game. It turns out it runs on what they call multiplex, one channel shows multiple games at once, meaning you can only watch parts of the game.
I would have preferred if they didn't show the game at all. Now I know the result having seen stuttered streams and a part of the end that was mixed...
