This is a wonderful place! It is a well stocked stylish games café where all ages are welcome. The food is freshly cooked comfort food at a good price but with a chef's touch, absolutely delicious. Great for vegetarians but my carnivorous fellow diner was very happy too (cheese/eggs used, some non veggie options also vegan possibilities). The tartes are very good indeed as is the wine! There were gamers, families, older people, younger ones, twenties, thirties in couples or groups having a drink, food and/or a lot of fun playing and learning (?!) new games. There was even a rock singer (ssh) having a business meeting. The chef and waitress have a wealth of knowledge and quiet enthusiasm for games so will help where it's needed or advise on good games for different levels but not intrusively so. This is a place of the heart, from the heart and should be in your...

Such a great experience that we went twice in one day! We were on a day trip to Carcassonne and wanted something to eat before heading up to the castle, came across this randomly looking for food. We are BIG board game lovers & wanted to buy the game Carcassonne in the city of Carcassonne! Drinks and snack food are around 3 euros, you have to pay 2 euros per person to play the games or 5 euros if you don’t buy anything. We got the hot chocolate and meal of the day for brunch, and then after we had visited the castle our legs hurt so bad that we needed a nice place to sit away from the cold so we came back for some tea. Not too many options for snacks as they have a few that change every day, but what they do have looks delicious! Wide selection of teas. And I recommend buying Carcassonne here as it was €10 cheaper than buying it in the castle....

What a cute place! We were in Carcassonne in the fall of 2018 when we stumbled upon this cafe randomly. We spotted board games from the window and of course, in we went. They have a HUGE collection of board games and also serve food and drinks.

The owner was super nice and friendly. They were closing in under an hour when we got there, and yet he still let us have a game of Carcassonne and tea just because it was our last evening there. :) Would definitely visit again if/ when we go back to...

We visited in July of 2025 from the USA and stopped in for a quick meal. The service was great and the quiche was delicious! We had the roasted red pepper and caramelized onions and the curry quiche. The owner noticed us speaking English and kindly proceeded to communicate in English. He and his colleague were very friendly. It was fun to discuss some of our favorite games--they had most all of them despite us visiting from a different country.

We stumbled across this hidden gem when looking for somewhere that served food during most other places lunch time closing and we were pleasantly surprised. We had the quiche Lorraine followed by desserts. The food was so delicious, and so surprising for a small venue. The staff were lovely and very helpful with fitting us in with a buggy and baby in tow. Definitely a must try even for a tea, cake and board game!
