We were a table of 6, hadn’t booked and were hungry around 1.45pm. The welcome couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. We ordered tapas to share as starters (calamari were excellent) then had confit duck leg and Salade Riquet as our main courses. They were both excellent; crispy skin, tender confit duck meat; the salad was huge and very generous with flaky cooked salmon as well as smoked salmon. A few had ice creams, coffees to finish. 2 bottles of excellent and well priced rose pushed the price up. We over-stayed our welcome and were told to take our time. Met the lovely owner/chef. An excellent place to stop for lunch. View over the canal du Midi beside...

I'd really like to give Zero stars but sadly that's not possible. I wanted to show a friend his first cassoulet and it was a terrible experience. I have family in the area and have had some amazing cassoulets but this was absolute garbage. Hot, brown, tasteless beans and a sausage. For 23 Euros. Disgusting. Staff terrible. Decor like something from a tacky show home. It was the only place we could find open. Please don't go here, and if you do don't eat the cassoulet. Also the salad that came with it was drenched with a disgusting sauce that felt shop bought. And not bought from...

FUYEZ...

We had a lovely lunch here. It was a bright spot in our trip to France. The salads were some of the best I’ve ever had. We felt welcome immediately and service was amazing. Highly recommend stopping here even if you’re in between trains like we were. The walk from the train station is worth it!

Merci encore. Et à bientôt !
