We had an absolutely delightful evening dining in Sébastien’s restaurant; lucky to be in Cherbourg on a Thursday, the only evening he serves dinner. We shared both entrees: delicious, creative, full of flavour that kept your mouth wondering about the source of each flavour. The pollack was cooked perfectly with the most delicious sauce and al dente vegetables. We shared an exquisite creative dessert and all enjoyed with a scrumptious Chablis. Sébastien generously shared some time with us discussing food, cooking, and life in general - completely charming! Lucky as we walked by and looked at the menu the young chef was just arriving. He was friendly and we asked him to reserve a table for us that evening, what a fantastic find. Small limited menu but everything was absolutely superb. Beautifully and brilliantly executed dishes. Wines were good too. The young chef is indeed extremely talented. The lady waitress was attentive and pleasant. All in all a perfect evening...

Nous avons déjeuné un midi en semaine au Café des Halles, sans connaître, et tout était parfait. Des plats jolis, de la recherche dans les mélanges de saveurs sans être très éloignés de la bonne cuisine française, du goût 🥳, des portions confortables, le tout pour des prix raisonnables au regard de la qualité, des produits frais, le tout fait maison - sauf le pain. Bravo au jeune chef très sympathique qui nous a dit s’être installé dans ce petit restaurant près des halles, en plein centre ville , il y a moins de 3 ans. Tous nos vœux de réussite .
