After a long day of walking through the beautiful town of Ribeauvillé, we found ourselves searching for a place to eat. The menu displayed outside caught our eye, and we decided to step in—and what a fantastic decision that was!
This charming corner restaurant immediately won us over with its cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window, which added an extra touch of delight to our experience.
The food was absolutely exquisite, every dish prepared to perfection. To top it off, the person who served us was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, savoring not just the food but the peaceful ambiance. Our visit to this lovely restaurant was the perfect way to end a wonderful day exploring Ribeauvillé. It left us with warm memories and a desire to...
Read morebad experience with service and food First, we sat and were the only customers and it started off good, the service was nice and we had a good wine. But after the entree came, things started going bad. The server asked us to pay for everything because she said she needed to leave and change service... but she never left, she continued to serve all evening. Then our plat of coq au vin delayed more than an hour to come and when it did, there was a larva worm thing crawling around in the pasta, we showed the server and she said "thats just nature" and put her hand in the plate to take it out then walked away... we just lost our appetite and couldn't enjoy the food anymore. The dessert of "homemade pie" came and was clearly a frozen pie that they heated up as some of the cherries still thawing and were stuck...

Plates were slammed on our table with barely a word. We were never asked how the meal was... incivility is the word that comes to mind. I am not sure whether it was because we were American (we do speak German fluently) or if we had initially asked if it would be possible to share a meal. Either way, there really is no excuse for us to have been treated in this manner. Very disappointing. Our dinners are typically the highlight of our...
