This is a Michelin? Our starter and dessert were delicious and the wine list is impressive...BUT. The mains were only 'meh' and the plating was so old fashioned. My friend and I ordered two different dishes but both came with the same schmear of vegetable puree - which did nothing to compliment the flavor of the main dish. It tasted like they were also both drown in the same exact gravy (despite being entirely different meats). Service was efficient but almost hostilely unfriendly. And for a place that has such a reputation for wine I was shocked how bad the wine service was. We ordered an aged Riesling which was not decanted for us. It tasted a lot like it was past its peak drinking age and maybe would have been better if it had had a chance to breathe some - but it didn't get that chance because it wasn't decanted and because we were hurried out so they could turn over the table for the next seating. The mediocre food and service I could live with but the unforgivable wine service is what bumps them...

Reasonable food, terrible customer service! The waitress never smiled, did not engage, contributed zero to the experience. The starters were pleasant but my gravlax could use some sort of sauce or condiment. My husband had a vegetarian vegetable starter. What I had as garni for starter (mixed leaves with dressing) later was my main (st Jacques salad) and what my husband had for starters, later appeared as garni with his main. A bit lazy. I had Saint Jacques salad as main which was mildly pleasant. My husband had pork for his main which the chef REFUSED to prepare well done, this sort of diva like behavior puzzles me. The mains presentation was cheap canteen like. The whole experience was okay but I would never ever go...

Came here on a Friday evening around 7pm without a reservation. The server was very friendly and found us a table outside on the terrace. The crémant d'Alsace was excellent quality to start. We then had the entrecôte and duck fat fries... simply delicious. I knew the Alsacian white wines were excellent but was surprised to see that the Alsacian Pinot Noir was equally superb. All in all, with the attentive and friendly service, excellent Alsacian wines, delicious high quality steaks, it was the best meal we had in...
