La Cabane du Penon — Restaurant in District of Dax

I love la Cabane du Penon, I just live behind it in Seignosse. I go there often when I have family & friends visiting. It is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, location wise it is amazing. The vibe is cool. However, there is no service at all (we had to go to the counter to ask for a drink and pay there). We sat on the orange chairs in the sand and nobody came to clear the previous dirty glasses on the table left by customers, I had to bring them inside. The sangria they serve is the Don Simon with a slice of orange (you can find the 1.5L bottle in any supermarket for 2.30e - here it costs 5e for a small glass). 1 étoile pour le lieu magnifique, notamment pour voir le coucher de soleil Pour l’accueil aimable et agréable on repassera. Je déconseille fortement si vous préférez rester zen après votre journée de plage. On a commandé 2 tournées pour 4. La 1ere commande on se fait engueuler parce qu’on s’entend pas et qu’on a eu le malheur de faire répéter la personne à la caisse. Bref on ne dit rien, le lieu étant bondé de monde, on peut concevoir l’agacement des serveuses. 2ème commande : on se fait à nouveau engueuler parce qu’elles sont 2 à prendre la commande en même temps et qu’elle se trompe en encaissant… « Sous couvert d’humour » bien sûr une fois qu’on a eu répondu et fait remarquer le ton désagréable de la personne à la caisse.
