Côté jardin - Chez Anne — Restaurant in Grasse

New owner since approximately 1 year, new chef in the kitchen (as new as few days ago…).

The location is the same as when I came here 6 years ago. Such a quiet place, relax, with beautiful view of the mountains surrounding Vence.

We did not know what to except, but we gave it a try, and were impressed by all means.

From wine selection: affordable and delicious, to the food: simple, fresh, colourful, everything was outstanding.

The plates were beautifully presented and that was the prelude for the degustation.

The products tasted so fresh, flavour were not hidden. On a personal note, nothing was fat or to rich, and this is the kind of food I like. I want tomatoes to taste tomatoes, and I was happy.

Arrived here for an early (for this part of Europe) dinner at 7.15. There is a beautiful terrace behind with a marvellous view - it was a lovely place from which to watch the evening light go out. We visited Vence in 2018 and a local suggested this place to us. We loved the food and the atmosphere was just fantastic. As another reviewer said, everything is done with a lot of love. We're on vacation again now and were reminded of this place. We had one of the nicest experiences we've had. If we're back in Vence, we'll definitely have...
