Chez Marc — Restaurant in Grasse

I think we were there on a bad day judging on the rest of the reviews written ! Serving staff were very welcoming, although after we placed our order we had two other staff asking to take our order ! The time taken to receive these orders I feel was unacceptable and my galette was only lukewarm when it arrived. We weren’t the only ones who had a long wait for orders, the poor table of 6 next to us had the same plus one of them finally had hers after her friends had finished?!?! Getting the bill was also a palaver …. So organisation needs to be stepped up here....

We passed by this place last year and we really liked the food. We were also suprised by the very fair price they are charging. So this year we tried it again and with no surprise it was still of very high quality. I strongly recommend you to try their brunch or at least you got to try their pain perdu à la fraise.

Given that this was the only restaurant in Vence serving food during siesta hours, we weren’t expecting much... but oh my, how delicious! We ordered a galette and the veggie board, both of which were soooooo tasty, and was more than plenty to feed three adults. Staff were so sweet, however don’t be in a hurry.... food took about 40 minutes to get to the table...
