Epi Beach — Restaurant in Grasse

We visited Epi Beach expecting a relaxing day at a beach club, but unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. First, we were charged €40 per person just for the sunbeds, and on top of that, we were required to eat at their restaurant—something that should have been optional.

The food itself was very disappointing. I ordered a hamburger that was practically inedible. Without asking, the staff brought out guacamole and hummus, which ended up costing us €32 plus extra for fries—not a great start. At the end of the meal, we asked for coffee with sambuca, and instead of including the sambuca with the coffee as typically expected, they brought them separately and charged us €16 each. Completely unreasonable and not transparent.

Be very cautious when ordering—our waiter was extremely persuasive and made it very easy to order things without making the pricing clear. This place feels more like a tourist trap than a luxury beach club. Definitely would not recommend based on...

Went for dinner with a table of 13 for a friends birthday, stunning location but the poor service we received was a huge let down. Two of the guests were not served dinner with the rest of the table and waited around 20 minutes for the first of the two outstanding meals to arrive. The other guest ended up cancelling his order as there was no sign of it arriving in time before the rest of the table finished eating. None of the staff were apologetic even though one of our guests went hungry. We were also billed twice for the meal that didn’t arrive.

In addition to this, 4 of the guests ordered the same steak dish, 2 of the 4 were visibly different dishes to what was ordered but they were assured it was all the same dish. We had to ask for our drink orders multiple times before they arrived. Overall...

Avoid at all costs a total rip off, drinks menu was presented, we thought that was it & paid €15 for glass of wine supposed to be large one but was size of normal glass in UK & IRL we then learned they had a wine list so bought a bottle for €30 the meal was very basic pasta & salmon ( two forks full) & king prawns & some veggie finally no desert menu only the waiter going around with a sample of deserts on a plate we got one lemon tart between us unfortunately we didn’t ask the price it came in at €15 ( saw them next day at a pastry shop for €2.50 anyway the bill came to 138€ couldn’t believe it so keep your money & spent it in a proper restaurant that’s open all year round.these are quick buck merchants who disappear...
