Estérel Plage — Restaurant in Grasse

I came here as it’s middle of the road and looked like a nice menu. I was ignored by the “manager” Anthony ( He played the no English card but I speak fairly well convo French) in all on my years I have NEVER experienced this type of French rudeness. To the point I was in tears. The first day I sat and sat. It was clear they did not want to serve me but. A nice waiter came over and helped me. But when it came time to pay he let me down because I finally had to get up and go to the bar. I would have left him a tip. But for what?? I decided to go back a second time because I though I was being touchy. This was my first visit to the coast and I have not been having a great experience (due to similar experiences other places) THIS TIME WAS WORSE! The nice guy who waited on me acted like it was a pain taking my order. I got upset and a nice waitress from inside helped me. But it just got worse from there. I got up and asked if I was going to be served and got ignored not once but TWICE. I finally had enough of the poor treatment got up and went to find her. I told her what had happened she tried so hard to help (thank you!!). I tried hard to be polite and respectful I know I’m in your country, but in the US I live in a tourist town and appreciate when outsiders try to adapt. You should try as well!!!! Being rude and...

I didn't know how to rate this place as I didn't even get seated. I am not someone who does bad reviews often especially if I didn't even technically get in. However this place deserves a review. The staff and manager here are awful! So rude arrogant.. Me and my family walked into their beach front eating section to ask if they had a table for 5 people. (There was loads of tables free) we were stood at the bar/booking section where staff just casually walked pass and acted as though we weren't there. After 5 mins of being invisible I flagged one of the staff over and asked if they had a table. He said wait for the manager. He didn't get her or anything. After 10mins the manager comes over talking on the phone and again its like we're invisible. I asked for a table and she just walked off. After that we walked out. Just completely rude behaviour. We went next door to epi beach and got a table even tho they were busy. Staff were lovely there. I did go back Esterel to get a card from them. The same manager on the phone chatting away didnt even stop to talking just handed me a card. Don't understand why they are so rude. So can't comment on food but never...

I've visited esterel restaurant 4 times during my visit and 3 out of 4 visits vere 10/10. From food, drinks and vibes to the views both during the day and night I couldn't imagine a better location in Juan le pins! We are very grateful for the best service we had throughout all these 3 visits but unfortunately when I went there for the 4th time (this time alone due to my flight being cancelled), I wanted to escape feeling miserable in the best place we found during our vacation... I met up with completely different service that day...from the start one gentleman while eating told me off " what do I want" just after entering the restaurant (I thought he was a guest at first) That was rude. I would love to pin point that this man was wearing a black tshirt that day and didn't look like a waiter. You should really change your attitude to customers. I really had a great time for the first 3 days, that was ruined on the 4th day. We thanked personally to the waiter that took amazing care of us and I'm sure If we ever go back we'd only come back if the waiter that served us then is on duty. Will I recommend this place to my friends?...
