Dear Benedick, We decided to venture to Krispy Kornet for a culinary masterpiece but oh my goodness what we found? Don’t even get me started!
I’m going to get started… the waiter had an extremely bald head, so bald I was blinded by the reflection of the suns rays blasting into my eyes from his filthy scalp, I now have glasses. During the horrendous wait time I could constantly smell a pungent aroma wafting towards me, woah, what was it you ask? My best guess is benedick’s putrid breath; I am convinced my food was also contaminated by this stench as I saw with my own eyes Benedick hurl a phlegm glob onto my burger in replacement of sauce. I hear of this secret ingredient you have, I think I found out what it is (Benedick’s breath) During the horrendous wait time, I decided to peek into the kitchen only to witness Benedick folded over with full crack on show whilst defecating and scratching the quarantined zone then smelling his fingers. Also, upon my peek, I saw a rat scurrying across the work top and then to my surprise I noticed Benedick chasing it around the kitchen attempting to stoke and kiss it; However thankfully the rat seemed to be repulsed by his breath as well (I heard him call it ratatouille) Benedicks manor was flirtatious and flamboyant, I caught him winking at my boyfriend and the rat which I must assume was male. (I think he has a type)
I am extremely shocked and disappointed by my experience at Krispy Kornet please pattern Benedick and tell him water doesn’t...
Read moreMy husband and I stumbled upon this adorable place on our honeymoon last week. The owner and the employees are so friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. My husband ordered the burger, and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. We also shared the calamari fries. We had been eating authentic French cuisine throughout the entire trip, but this gave us a little touch of home— comfort food.
The food was fresh, delicious, full of flavor. Fried food can often upset my stomach, but this did not. The food is not greasy or covered in oil. It’s cooked beautifully. Perfect place for a quick bite to eat (esp. when you’re hungry, and you might not have time to sit at a cafe for hours). If you’re in the mood for this type of food, you’ll experience REAL ingredients here.
This place would make an absolute killing in the United States— especially out on Long Island, NY (Westhampton Beach or Long Beach, because of the strong seafood touch). I hope they come out here one day, because I will be a loyal customer. Until then, if you’re in...
Read moreIf you're looking for street food in old Antibes then Krispy Kornet is an excellent 'hole-in-the-wall' style vendor. The Kornets in question are paper cones filled your choice of delicious food (we had the fritto misto di mare), or you can take your pick from a wide range of burgers - beef, chicken or fish (we had a burger stacked with cheese). The quality is excellent, the choice is wide and the value is great - burgers are from €5. A brilliant option if you're hungry but don't want to queue (or pay) for a full meal in one of Antibes...
