Meat & wine Valbonne — Restaurant in Grasse

Great place for meat and wine funnily enough... We were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff who also spoke very good English, they brought a blackboard over to the table with the menu written on, this is a lovely touch and the waiter explained all of the dishes to us and then explained which wine would go best with our meal and to our specific preferences of favourite wines.

We ordered lamb skewers to start with and we shared some picanha steak with fries and this amazing aubergine vegetable dish with feta cheese , to be honest the vegetable dish stole the show for both of us, it was divine!

I would've given 5 stars but the steak wasn't very well seasoned when cooked so I added salt to add that flavor in, it also came out and wasn't too hot so maybe had been rested too long, overall it was a really nice meal and id highly recommend to anyone visiting valbonne as...

Lovely restaurant with good service, friendly waiters and the food is delish!!! We ordered the Picanha black d' Aberdeen for two (500gr) which came with the best fried chips, veggies and salad. Current wine selection (by the glass) is displayed on a chalk board. Mostly excellent though be prepared for some eclectic options.

Food is also displayed on a chalk board. Basically various different meats, char grilled, with a few side options.

We didn’t sample the desert options on this occasion given the copious main courses.
