Friday is market day in Valbonne, from 07.30 - 13.30. The medieval town center is beautifully renovated and all pedestrianised. Plenty of stalls selling everything from fruit/veg , small goods, to clothes, accessories. Plenty of small shops in between the stalls, and several restaurants. There’s a lovely atmosphere- definitely worth booking lunch somewhere. The market is packed by 12 noon so try and get here earlier- makes parking easier too.

Pranzo all'aperto sotto il sole di Provenza, fritto misto accompagnato da un verre a pie' de vin rose' e per finire caffè gourmet, espresso accompagnato da piccoli contenitori di mousse al cioccolato, panna cotta ai frutti rossi e creme caramel. Che si può volere di più ?

Best market in the area. Opens early, starts to close around 1pm. Friendly traders, many of which speak English and often happy to give samples to encourage sales. Careful though, can...
