I rarely write these reviews but sometimes a truly dreadful experience needs to be shared. Unfortunately I could not un-recommend this establishment anymore than is possible :-) When I arrived to have a meal and drinks I had to wait approximately 10 minutes before the one member of staff who was working, even though it was on an evening during which France were playing at Euro 2024, finally acknowledged my existence by the entrance. He then reluctantly allowed me to sit on a table that was initially set up for two, despite being on my own. It took about 20-25 minutes to get a menu and order my meal and although the accompanying sauce for my steak would not arrive, I thought that all was well. This would, however, prove to not be the case. Because the 2024 Euros were going on and France were playing in the second game of the evening, upon finishing my meal and trying to order another drink, I was asked if I would be staying for the second game. I said that I would like to stay and have more drinks and even perhaps a desert, to which a staff member (who appeared to be the owner or restaurant manager), reluctantly said “I was just checking as you shouldn’t really be able to do that but OK, no problem”. Just moments later, however, he asked other tables around me what their intentions were and they too said that they would be sticking around…after all why wouldn’t they? This seemingly afforded enough time for him to reflect upon how incompetent the whole organisation of his own restaurant had been all night and as a result he suddenly suggested to me that I had to leave immediately as people were queuing outside (which they weren’t by this stage) for my table. He made it clear that this was because they had failed to manage the situation appropriately and it was his mistake. He suddenly started approaching other people at their tables who were still drinking after their meals and told them that they also had to leave in a very panicked manner. To make matters worse he then told me that “I would feel just like you if I hadn’t been told about this when you arrived but we are a restaurant and we need to make money. I’m a nice guy and I don’t like to do this but I don’t have a choice”. He proceeded to ask for payment and then ordered me to leave. I even offered to order further food, such as another main meal, so that I could stay but he was having none of it. It was quite a remarkable experience. The killer was that he seemingly didn’t have the bravery to actually make the larger groups of people leave despite his panic and the fact that he’d said he needed room for a table of 5. Instead he seemingly relied on people like me having had enough of being treated like a second class citizen to free up some space for him. This was a genuinely appalling experience…if you want to be treated like dirt by a place masquerading to be something that it’s not then “The Glory” is the...

From the moment we approached Glory, we felt welcomed, and we knew this was going to be a good dining experience. Our waiter David who was front of house was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, we wish we had eaten there every night, but we only discovered it 2 days before we were leaving. In Fact, we did return the following evening, and the food and service were just as impeccable. The Argentinian rib eye steak was the best we have had, cooked to perfection, medium rare, the vegetables and salad fresh and full of flavour and the fish, both the sea bass and tuna were both 'melt in your mouth' dishes. The tuna in particular is worth highlighting as from experience,  it is tricky to cook to perfection. The manager, owner and all the staff were polite and helpful, and we would 100% recommend Glory to anyone who wants to eat in a quality restaurant. David, you are an absolute gem 💎 Gail...

The Glory in Antibes is more than just an amazing restaurant; it’s an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed like family. Their Asian-inspired menu offers delicious, healthy sushi options, fantastic meat dishes, and fresh, tasty vegetables. Almost every night, there’s a live DJ setting the perfect vibe with great music. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is simply awesome. Plus, if you love pink flowers, you’ll adore the beautiful decor. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience!
