Poppa — Restaurant in Grenoble

I have been waiting to try this place for a while and wasn't quite satisfied with it. Portions are okay for the price, but I would have appreciated for the staff to be just sorry and ask how was it possible to make it better instead on saying that the presence of soil in the leek was a sign of the vegetable being fresh. And the leek was part of the plate. Luckily I verified before eating but how is it possible that people working in a restaurant do not just apologise for something like this and instead try to convince the costumers that it is not so bad if they end up eating soil in their food because it means it is fresh? Definitely not going...

We had dinner at Poppa as a group of four and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with stylish décor and a friendly, professional staff who were both attentive and helpful. We shared a few tapas, and every dish was delicious. What truly stood out were the sauces and dressings—they were absolute masterpieces, elevating each plate to another level.

J’adore le concept du restaurant où l’on peut partager les plats, c’est conviviale et cela permet de goûter à tout lorsque l’on hésite (ce qui est souvent mon cas😅).

Surtout n’ayez pas peur du mélange des saveurs car le tout donne un résultat juste exceptionnel, c’est parfaitement équilibré au niveau du goût mais aussi des textures, digne des restaurants étoilés. Peut importe ce que vous prendrez ce sera forcément bon 😋

Très grand choix de boissons, pour le vin rouge nous avons prit du saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, il est doux et s’accorde facilement avec tout. Pour les cocktails cela vaut vraiment le détour, ils sont très équilibrés pas trop de sucre, pas trop d’alcool juste ce qu’il faut, toujours fait avec des produits de qualité. En digestif nous avons goûté le limoncello fait maison, très doux en terme d’alcool et l’on sent vraiment le goût citron, le sucre ne vient pas prendre le dessus. Je vous le conseil fortement car c’est très agréable pour finir le repas.
