The food was not good, particularly for the price. The issue was the service, led by a man I can only guess coordinated the lifeboats on the titanic in a previous life. As we were waiting for someone to come to give us menus, I remarked at how unappealing the salmon headed to another table was.
As a result, I ordered cod. The head waiter (a middle aged man with greying hair) took our order without writing it down, and we joked that he'd get the order wrong as a result. He even corrected my pronunciation of "cabillaud", meaning cod. And of course I got the bland, unappealing salmon delivered by a different member of staff who said if I wanted what I ordered it would take a long time. I prefer cod, though in hindsight ot too was probably bland and unappealing.
This left me no option but to eat as much of the anemic salmon as would cure my hunger lest my dining party have to wait until the next financial year for another course to arrive.
We had a train to catch in the morning so I didn't want to make a fuss, but they charged me for the menu item I didn't order, and offered nothing in the way of an apology. Even the calvados I ordered was charged for, not even comped as a way of...

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Pazza Notte and I must say, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The service was absolutely abysmal. From the moment we walked in, the staff ignored us completely. It took ages for someone to acknowledge our presence and even longer to seat us, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy.
Once seated, the situation only got worse. The waitstaff were incredibly inattentive, frequently walking past our table without even glancing our way. We had to practically wave someone down just to place our order.
Overall, the combination of poor service and neglect made for an unpleasant and distressing dining experience. I would strongly advise against visiting.if you expect to be treated with basic decency and respect.
We were a group of 8 and we all felt the same way.
Too bad we did not look at the reviews before...
Read more-no soap in any bathroom, also in the kitchen, the cook had only dish soap to give us -microwaved cod, grilled we don't know when -reheated pasta, with mystery meat sauce( bolognese) thrown freely on pizza- avoid! -ive never left a piece of pizza on my plate, untill Pazza Notte, what a terrible undercooked s..t the waitress who took our order (and was so kind to help us with the lack of soap) was only paying attention to one customer, whom she kissed to greet and was happy to pour him rosé -waited way longer for the check than for the food to arrive (microwave is so much quicker than the register!) I regret it. Was a mistake. If you are reading this BEFORE going to Pazza Note i congratulate you. I wasn't smart enough to read and avoid it. Well done! Anywhere else is...
