T&V Banh Mi — Restaurant in Lille

It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed any restaurant, but I feel compelled to write a review for this restaurant. I’m Vietnamese and I can say that this is 10/10 legit. Flavorful, freshly baked bread, juicy meat, and the texture of the bread is on point. Some places use the French baguettes which isn’t the same. We were on a 3 day trip in Lille when we stumbled upon this little banhmi shop near our hotel & this is the best and most tasty bahnmi sandwich we have ever had. It was delicious. We had pork banh mi and it tastes exactly the same as in Vietnam. The bread is amazing, it is Vietnamese banh, not the baguette, it is crunchy outside but soft and fluffy in the inside. Veggies, meat and sauce make the perfect harmony. As a Korean, their “extra spicy” was actually hot and I love it!
