Truly awful! I had the fish soup with croutons. It tasted like the poo sac from a prawn. No fish evident as bad as it could possibly be. Then came the poor mussels. They were tiny and flavourless in cream with onions - they were either steamed or microwaved in water. I tried eating them but just gave up in the end. Anything could have improved them ie garlic, white wine, pepper ... Something. My nine year old could have cooked better than this. My partner had the pork terrine which was pretty good but unfortunately this was followed by tasteless and overcooked chicken. We both agreed it must have be pre cooked then microwaved cause it was steaming hot. We both had the chocolate mousse to finish which was not bad at all. At least it partially cleansed my mouth from the fish soup. My partner noticed the sour looks on departing patrons faces as they finished their lunch. I was looking in the wrong direction. As we left i checked the name of the resteraurnt solely to write this review. I noticed several other people doing the same thing as if to say what did we just pay for and what was it called. Avoid. I am sorry i did not read other google reviews before dining which is aberrant of me. I wont make the same...

The man was good and the food was completely fine. I asked for a rare steak but received well done but it was actually quite tasty with the onion sauce and gravy. Chips were delicious and side salad was alright. Normandy Tarte for dessert with cream and ice cream was also good and the man serving us was friendly and gave us bread and refilled our water without us having to ask. The sea snails were big and fresh, shrimp average. The terrine de campagne was pretty gross but not the end of the world, I ate all of it. 45 euro all up for 2 starters 2 mains and a dessert to share, no drinks only table water. Atmosphere was good and the bathroom was decent. Shocked this place has such a low average rating but at the same time the food would be disappointing to some people. I'm easily pleased and I felt comfortable the entire time and loved the steak sauce and chips and the steak was interesting even though it was so well done it held lots of flavour. Prices aren't the worst. Mussles were average...
Read moreWe ordered 12 Oysters and a glass of Chardonnay for lunch. It's for sure the worst serving I've ever experienced in France.
Oysters came in on a platter with salt under, no ice! and the Lemon was on the salt, and tasted of salt!
The Oysters were just slightly opened, and Oysters was not cut free from the "lids" - and we had to "process" the serving our selvs.
The idear is probably to give the impression of really fresh Oysters, bit considered the temperature, and the price (25 Eur for Oysters and 6 Eur for the Wine) it was a catastrophe, and We discussed if we were on a "Candid Camera Show" and started to look around!
You should walk away, as you dont need this experience!
Only positive thing, was that we didn't get a...
