First time to visit Ambroise Looking around to find nice restaurant and luckily that we chose here.

Nice and cozy with reasonable price

The restaurant have both french and english menu Have only 3 starters to choose so we tried them all.

Salmon and beetroot are nice but I love poultry with cheese the most.

For main course we ordered pork belly, fried chicken and red mullet. We had a chance to taste it all and we voted for pork belly the best main dish.

Pork bellies are juicy and tasty on top of mash potato and pop corn. We recommended to try because it is very delicious.

Chickens are fried with nut and four, they are very crispy. This dish is also nice.

For dessert, the signature chocolate is awesome as the menu said.

Waiter and chef are quite welcome and friendly.

A gem a surprise in Amboise. Touristy places are not always known for their culinary offering but this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. From the warm, friendly service to the exceptional food and wine, it's a definite must visit if you're in Amboise or the surrounding area. My husband and I had a delicious meal here! They were able to cater to him being a coeliac and had gluten free bread which we don't see often. Amazing woman running the whole restaurant - despite being run off her feet she was attentive, recommended a great wine and took the time to explain meal options.
