Lounge B. — Restaurant in Loches

I’ve visited France more than 20 times but this was the first time I ordered a burger. I opted for their tartiflette burger which was absolutely amazing! This was basically seared steak tartare with a different seasoning, and topped with a cheese that should be paired with burgers more often. My wife ordered the Guinea Fowl with polenta and aubergine. It was … wow! The kids got grilled fish and fries which they devoured completely.

The service was also really great. Our waitress, Jennifer, is the first waiter/waitress I’ve encountered in France who just knows when to call in the table. Not once, did we have to ask for something. She is a ray of sunshine and is extremely welcoming.

I cannot recommend this...

Only found this because someone took pity on me trying to find an open resturant after 8pm. But what a treat this place was. A absolutely wonderful couple bartending and managing the place. They helped me out tremendously and they gave me great recommendation on places to go and things to do. . It is this couple which gave the feeling of warmth and concern that tells me its when the ours stop and the drinks slow you start meeting the real stories start. ... Ok. I just ordered a burger here. But that sizzling beef was no ordinary burger. it was like them comforting, friendly and enticing. many locals stumbled/walked in in the later hours and were eating up. Your in...

Je suis obligé de rédiger un avis, et pourtant j'aurais aimé faire différemment, donc, pour commencer, compliqué de choisir un bon vin au verre à moin de 10€, dommage, ça sera donc une bière, bonne, mais, c'est une bière.. 🙄... Nous avons commandé et, nous avons été servi 3/4 d'heure après ! 20 personnes arriver après nous on été servi avant nous.. La, j'avais un peu de mal... Ma femme, son plat à été "suprême de pintade" loin d'être copieux ! Pour moi, et la j'y tiens ! Du porc ibérique, je demande une cuisson "rosé", on me le sert à point, voir bien cuit ! Vraiment déçu de la cuisson, et de plus, beaucoup trop assaisonner, la main lourde sur les herbes de Provence.... Donc, aucun serveur n'est venu nous demander si le repas se déroulait bien, si ça avait été le cas, j'aurais manifesté mon mécontentement sur la cuisson, il est évident qu'avec une déception de client, la meilleure des solution aurait été une remise sur facture pour s'excuser du désagrément occasionnée. Alors, que dire ? N'y aller pas ? A vous de juger, en tout les cas, le chef a beaucoup de lacunes à corriger ! Deux bretons amoureux de bonne table ! Je pense sûrement à jamais....
