We came here with low expectations, and the experience proved that even this was too generous. Some of the staff were nice. Some were not. We sat down near the door, and a greeter told us us that we could not sit there. "You are only two, and this table has 4 chairs." He offered a place for two inside. We followed. He sat us (I am not joking) at a long table seated for six people. (See pic) But what the heck. No big deal. Btw the man at the register was decent and polite. We placed our order. Then, we had to ask twice for water. When the server brought the water, he held the bottles by the open ends (no one visably sanitized). Our eyes both went wide when he sat the bottle in front of us . I wiped the bottle down with my napkin. When I ordered my steak, the server asked how I would like the meat prepared. I said medium to well. He repeated that. When the steak arrived, it was medium rare to Raw! (SEE PIC) I ate what I could. But only the edges. This is not a "lost in translation" issue. The cook is simply not paying attention to the order, and the server isn't trained to recognize when the order is wrong. This is not the first time. He has made this mistake. As there are a few previous comments about this very issue. My wife's salad was not properly rinsed. She experienced several bites with sandy grit. This is what happens when poorly trained staff get rushed. They cut corners and take short cuts. The person who sat us at the table kept stumbling against my chair as he attempted to move around the place. (Perhaps karma 😆) perhaps he could have let us sit where we originally were sitting. When we left, I noticed the table for four had been cramped against another table to make room for six. 😆 The food was not great. Good enough, if you're in a pinch. Because some of the servers were really doing their best, I am giving this experience a 2 star. Otherwise, it would be a one star. This is a management issue. Not employee issue. Repeated complaints that resemble each other is simply continuously ignoring and not addressing the problem. If I bought this place, I'd fire the one kitchen staff that cannot read the order menu and retrain the others. Until there is a sign that reads "under new management," I'm not willing to give this place another chance.

The restaurant is right on the corner of the main street. It has outdoor and indoor seating. We ordered french onion soup. Braised chicken. salmon and duck leg with potatoes. First the onion soups bought out, they were cold. We asked them to re heat the soups. Afterward the soups tasted great. The duck leg and salmon were good. the braised chicken was not good. The meat didnt taste fresh. Overall the dinner experience was great.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Anne de Bretagne—Tasty Duck Confit, Brilliant Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Anne de Bretagne is a hidden gem in the heart of Ambrose. Their mouthwatering duck confit is incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The brilliant location adds to the overall charm of the restaurant. A must-visit for those seeking tasty cuisine and a vibrant ambiance.

I ate at this restaurant yesterday evening with my husband and two children. The fist waitress that approached us was very rude: she barked her questions at us and then proceeded to slam our glasses down on the table. Her attitude was so bad, even other diners were raising their eyebrows and giggling. the food was passable - though we were very hungry having driven all day. Our waitress was switched and was more pleasant. At about 1.00 I awoke with terrible stomach cramps and without wanting to be vulgar, I spent all night on the toilet with a bad case of food poisoning. This is the worst experience I have had at...

Located along the walkway to the entrance of the Chateau with outdoor seating. Down to earth casual decor and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Very touristy area with lots of souvenir shops next door and across but restaurant doesn’t disappoint. We had all French dishes on a rainy evening and were happy with our meals. The service was welcoming and we tried our best to communicate in French but our server helped us out by confirming graciously in English. Thank you for a...
