I would have rated this place a 4, but our steak took over 70 minutes and was overcooked, wine glasses were empty and no one came out the whole time, and neither did they say 'this might take a while'. Steak was not bad, but the only overcooked steak I'd had my entire time in France, which I ate steak nighty for 2 weeks. Not an insignificant amount of steak was well done and fairly tough. Food was good, place was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night, maybe 6 people with capacity around 30.

Absolutely blown away by the dining experience! The octopus was simply divine—perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection. The cabillaud fish was equally outstanding, fresh and flavorful, leaving us craving for more. The ambiance is cozy and chic, making it the ideal spot for a memorable meal. Our first night in Lyon whilst staying here for a week. We wanted to get started with a good Brasserie and Sathonay did not disappoint.

My wife had snails followed by Octopus and I had Veal followed by T-bone Pork. Everything was delicious and washed down by a lovely wine.
