I was actually disappointed by this restaurant. Every Lebanese place I’ve eaten so far at was a delight. Not this one though. First of all: the « business model » Instead of having the freedom to choose whatever appetizer and main dish of your choice, you’re forced to get both, because there is no other option. You can’t just get a main dish. It is a menu-based choice., where you get access to the cold appetizers buffet. For me this forced choice was a big downside. But I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try the food. Secondly, I wouldn’t have minded the aforementioned point, IF I could have enjoyed my Hummus with a warm, house-made pita. Instead, they brought us COLD, store-bought, in a plastic bag Pitas. That was the second red flag. Thirdly, the « freshly squeezed orange juice I ordered was actually a Granini Orange Juice. I’m giving it 3/5 however because the Main dish was decent.

Je m’y suis rendue avec ma mère. La personne qui nous accueille nous affiche un grand sourire, puis nous installe. La décoration du restaurant est très sympathique et agréable, le menu est lui même assez esthétique. Et le restaurant dispose d’une terrasse. Jusque là tout allait bien. Le service est assuré par la même personne. Nous choisissons nos repas et demandons à ce que le riz soit enlevé de celui de ma mère (qui n’en mange pas) et remplacé par de la salade. La personne s’étonne un peu mais prend note. Au bout de 20 minutes nos plats arrive. Pas de bon appétit et la serveuse/réceptionniste tourne le dos très rapidement en s’en va.. Je reste sans voix en voyant le plat de ma mère, photo ci-joint. Le riz a bien été enlevé mais la salade a gardé sa taille habituelle, ce qui rend l’assiette très pauvre… Fallait-il précisé de doublé la quantité de salade ? Cela me semble pourtant logique. Mais passons. Les brochettes était bonnes. Quant à mon plat (Lahme bel fakhara) les légumes et la sauce étaient très bons. Je n’ai pas aimé le fromage et la viande, mais ce sont par rapport a mes goûts personnels. Je règle mon repas et demande un café à emporter, la serveuse me jette le sucre et la cuillère puis passe aux clients suivant. Pas de remerciement pas même ne serait ce qu’un simple « au revoir ». Conclusion, le restaurant a du potentiel mais le service laisse à désirer… Il faudrait revoir les bases de la politesse et le sens du commerce… Total de 54.30€ pour 2 plats, un coca et un Espresso. Plutôt correct en rapport qualité prix si le service avait été bon. Ce qui n’est pas le cas. Et je crois que nous pouvions accéder au buffet mais personne ne...

The staff wasn’t welcoming but quickly found us a table (2 pax). We ordered the buffet to have something quick and fulfilling but the staff took so long to replenish the buffet that many of the boxes were empty or nearly empty all the time (this was 21-22.00 on Saturday).
