Le Taj indien — Restaurant in Lyon

Very horrible experience from the moment we entered, pathetic hospitality, staff behavior is very rude and are not polite at all. We were group of three people, as nobody was at the entrance to assist us so we entered inside and sat down to wait for the staff. This male staff came towards us and said “ Has my colleague asked you all to sit here”

we replied nobody was outside to assist, so we came in.

He : This is not Mc Donald’s that you can enter straight. You should have wait for me outside.

Staff was so loud that customers nearby could hear what he said. We felt humiliated by this behavior and immediately left the place. Being an Indian who invited my friends to have dinner at this restaurant. I was disappointed how bad staff is in their behavior.

I don’t know the name of staff but I am posting about his appearance here, he is lean , keeps beard and is the one who takes order.

Please look into this , if someone from restraunt reading this comment. This staff needs to learn some basic manners and courtesy to work in...

The restaurant looks really nice. That's pretty much the only positive. Service was extremely slow. Appetizers were fine, but the main dishes were mostly unedible. Do NOT go for Biryanis - our group ordered different biryanis and all of them were just rice and curry mixed together. Meat curries were okish, maybe rate it 2.5/5.
