Look Bar — Restaurant in Lyon

Very cozy place 🤗 Kind of tight inside, but 2 floors and the feeling was more of a comfortable livingroom than a pub (I mean this in a good way 😅)

A nice selection of wines and spirits. Since it is in France, the beer on taps were not really that inspiring. They got about 5-6 of them, so I guess it is sufficient.

The staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful.

The seats outside was OK. There were awnings to shield from the sun ☀️😎👍

There was ice water provided for free.

I Googled bar near me open on a Sunday night very late that was open and found this place. Have to say we had a great time. We all ordered ol fashioneds and very tasty. Great selection of old school music on vinyl. Local guy spontaneously breaking out a guitar and playing and singing that had the whole place pretty happy. I would say a must stop. Certes le décor vaut le détour. Mais c'est à peu près tout. Impossible de se faire servir un cocktail correcte. Les deux barmans vous prennent un peu de haut avec leur humour bien moins cher que leurs boissons. Ici on vous sert des "nuages noirs" et des "Singapour", trucs inconnus au bataillon mais qui ont pour point commun d'être immondes et de faire mal à la tête. Un gin tonic ça passe, un old fashion passez votre chemin. Quand on demande un cocktail que préfère le barman on se voit répondre invariablement "le nuage noir". Apparement c'est supposé être drôle. Vu le grand remplissage du bar on imagine que les nouvelles têtes ne sont pas activement recherchées. Pas de soucis en ce qui me concerne, ça me va d'éviter ce genre d'endroit qui sent par moment la moisissure et le pet (et vu le niveau de décrépitude et d'hygiène d'une partie du matériel on comprend pourquoi). Ca se dit bar de nuit mais il ne suffit pas d'être ouvert de 18h à 4h pour ça. Et passer du Gainsbourg ou du Brassens en vynil n'y...
