My french friend couldn't stop exclaiming 'C'est Magnifique!' Extremely delicious food, I must say. Being a vegetarian, I found the legume section to be pretty basic, so I had requested the chef to prepare 'veg kofta' off the menu and they happily accommodated my request. Guess what, it was supremely delicious. I recommend the management to add it in the menu. The staff was very cordial too. We also loved our dessert pista kulfi! it was rich in flavour and the portion was generous.
However, there is some room for improvement to go from 'very good' to 'the best' out there. The vegetarian samosa could be more authentic. It was samosa by definition but I was really craving for the tradition one. Furthermore, I personally felt that the curries were pricier for the portion sizes. I may be wrong given that I don't have a benchmark as I don't dine out that often.
Thanks again for your hospitality and we look forward to...
Read moreI generally do not like to leave bad reviews, specially for small businesses, but my experience here was not good. The food is not good, the labeling of Indian dishes is incorrect, and it’s expensive for the quality. Aloo Tikki is misleading when they actually serve Aloo Pakoda, with terrible proportions of actual potato either way. The korma was too sweet & the naan was undercooked. They made me sit right next to the door (with it continuing to bang against me) when other tables were free - and continued to be free while I was eating. Please save your money & go somewhere else!
Continuing the berate the reviewers who have a difference in opinion is not good practice - this restaurant does not run in good faith. The staff is all very kind except the manager & you can filter for reviews for his defensive &...
Read moreWhile walking through the neighborhood, full of restaurants of all kinds, I was drawn by a unique detail: the irresistible aroma of spices coming from the street. That’s what guided me to penjabi grill, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, tender and covered in a creamy, perfectly spiced sauce — every bite was a journey of flavors. The cheese naan, warm and fluffy, was perfect for dipping, and the basmati rice completed the dish beautifully. In a neighborhood full of options, here I found something that goes beyond just eating: an authentic experience, from the scent of spices in the air to the very last bite. Definitely a place to remember...
