Mozzato — Restaurant in Lyon

I am not going to lie the food is delicious but not the best nor worth it compared to the prices the real problem is that the service is absolutely horrible. We went there as 3 friends, our first language is different but we can all efficiently talk french since its our 2nd language so we were talking in our first language amongst us. We each payed for our own dinner. 25€ for 2 of us and 16€ for our other friend. But this other friend didn’t have the exact banknotes so he gave it them 50€ while the others payed the exact amount they should have in cash. He should have gotten 34€ for a cash WHICH WE ALSO HEARD THEM INSIDE trying to calculate between them (the waitresses). The other waitress SAID to our waitress it should be trente quatre. WHICH WE HEARD THEM FROM OUTSIDE. But when our change came back it was only 26€. After that we explained the situation to the waitress very calmy and politely that there was a problem and approximately 10 euros was missing. After that the waitress got angry out of now where as she went inside she slammed the check on the counter. After a few minutes she came back and gave us the correct change but just because we were tourists they trying to scam us. Everyone can miscalculate and make mistakes but this behavior to customers is unacceptable. Don’t go there instead go to the other restaurants/cafes in...

Very good restaurant!!! All the food was very good and very affordable, which was a surprise considering how good the dishes were. The waiters were very kind and helpful, the decoration and overall ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy and well thought out, despite the small size of the room. Only bad points were the obvious lack of bathrooms available, and the noise of the customers inside that could get very loud inside, making it hard to talk with people at the table. Most of the staff speaks english and helps translating and or explaining what each of the dishes are. The gnocchi were godlike. Recommend for the good atmosphere and affordable, amazing food, but an autistic and otherwise neurodivergent person might find the inside of the store...

Les plats étaient délicieux, et le service à table très agréable ! Les serveurs anticipaient nos besoins (eau, foccacia à volonté - ceci allant avec l’assiette mozzato que nous avons pris -). Seul moment ombragé au moment de payer la note, nous avons payé 7 euros en supplément burrata truffe. Il nous semblait pourtant noté « 4 euros supplément burrata truffe » sur le menu, ce que nous avons indiqué à la serveuse lorsqu’elle nous a montré la note. Elle a rectifié en disant qu’il était noté seulement « supplément truffe 4euros » et nous en étions étonnés et avons voulu vérifier sur le menu mais la serveuse est partie avant que nous ayons eu le temps de le faire.. bien qu’elle ait vu notre étonnement et notre volonté de vérifier.

De mon point de vue de cliente, la serveuse aurait dû prendre l’initiative de vérifier sur le menu avec nous et je n’ai pas apprécié qu’elle soit simplement partie sans respecter nos doutes. Malheureusement, après vérification, il était bien noté « supplément burrata truffe 4 euros »… il y a une certaine ambiguïté (la truffe étant seulement la sauce truffe - la burrata truffe étant la burrata + la sauce truffe au dessus). A noter qu’effectivement, en toute honnêteté, le supplément burrata truffe 4 euros semblait (trop?) peu cher ! Peut être que l’écriture concernant les détails du menu pourrait être revue ? Dommage de laisser une telle ambiguïté dans un restaurant d’une telle qualité ! Et également, peut être accorder une meilleure formation/ sensibilisation quant aux désaccords entre...
