Boulangerie Aixoise — Restaurant in Marseille

My family and I stopped by this bakery a few weeks ago. Pastries were amazing but the lady behind the counter was horribly rude. I looked at photos and I can see this rude lady on one of the photos posted by another reviewer. She was clearly annoyed with us. I understand a little bit of french. She said to other french speaking customers that we are taking too long and we don’t speak french. Her tone was not nice at all. It was very stressful and not pleasant to be in this bakery. I hope she will get fired because that’s not how you treat people. Yes we might not speak french but it doesn’t mean that we should not be treated...

I picked up a brownie and a mini mango-coconut pie to go. Unfortunately, the brownie was very disappointing as the only taste I could pick up on was the flour. Also, every bite I took was a gamble between swallowing an awful brownie bite or simply having to spit it out due to the nuts being ROCK HARD. All of that combined with the brownie’s lacklustre texture made it THE worst brownie I have ever eaten. Mango-coconut pie was decent tho.

Je suis allé dans cette boulangerie hier. Cela faisait des années que je n'y allais plus. À l'époque c'était bien. Hier fin d'après midi, le 14 avril 2023, je demande 2 baguettes tradition, je veux pour payer en carte et voilà que la vendeuse agressive, me demande : " mais!!! Vous n'avez pas de monnaie !!!!!" Je lui réponds : " heu....non.... mais pas grave, je ne les achète pas....." Elle répond : " Les cartes c'est à partir de 5 euros! bon je vous AUTORISE à payer par carte, mais vous le saurez pour la prochaine fois !" Et bien je lui ai répondu que c'est pas la peine,, car j'irai acheter mon pain , à l'endroit où on ne m'impose pas la façon dont je souhaite payer. Nous sommes libres d'aller dépenser notre argent où l'on veut. Exemple de boulangerie qui accepte les paiements par CB sans montant minimum d'achat : boulangerie de l'Opéra et Boulangerie Mandonato rue sainte. Imposer un montant dans une boulangerie c'est hallucinant. Cette boulangerie devrait afficher en gros sur la porte qu'elle n'accepte que les cartes à partir de 5 euros Je ne parle même pas de l'amabilité et de l'accueil. J'ai l'impression qu'à Marseille, c'est le monde à l'envers, en effet c'est le client qui doit accueillir le vendeur .
