Misogynistic - talk about making a female beg for a bag! So my daughter and I popped in and found a bag she really wanted for her 25th birthday. We were going to purchase the £2,300 bag but was persuaded to purchase the £3,300 bag. We told the sales person we needed to think about it as it was a big purchase. Our daughter was so excited and really wanted the black bag so I called my husband to find out if we could afford it. He said it was her 25th birthday so yes we would find the money. We were queuing up. My daughter was so excited. The security man made us wait outside. I He had already seen us so was a bit confused he made us que, especially as there was no one in the store nathan about 10 minutes later he requested we handed over our drinks that were sealed in a bottle. We were very confused as we had already been in with our shopping and he didn’t seem to care before. However instead the sales people and the security guard decided to ridicule us. The only thing I can think is that he and the sales people were males and we were females really wanting something so they took advantage and wanted us to beg for it. It was very shameful and degrading. I can’t believe they made us feel like this because they knew we wanted something from them. What a cruel act of misogynistic. We have now also researched the bay and lived they do sell the black with the black leather strap which is what we really wanted and they chose not to tell us this. Yes LV probably have rich people purchasing the entire shelf at any given time but I hope these rich people read what I’ve wrote and make the decision not to support this company as I’m sure they have daughters, sisters, grandchildren that they would not want treated...
Read moreI visited the Louis Vuitton store in Marseille two weeks ago and purchased a handbag. While the service was good, I was assured several times by the sales associates that I would not have to pay tax or declare the item upon my return to Canada. However, upon my return, I was flagged and the agent at the airport threatened to confiscate the item. After explaining the situation, I paid the tax and let off with a warning. Not only was this embarrassing but also added 1.5 hours to my travel and wait time. I am extremely upset and disappointed by the lack of knowledge and care that the associates at Louis Vuitton showed me, especially when this is supposed to be a...
Read moreWe are visitng Marseille for the first time, and we wanted to go and see the local LV to do some shopping. No one greated us when we entered, we sat down for 10 minutes and no one came to offer help, when I approached a member of staff I was told they are busy and have to wait, but clearly a few other guests who arrived after us have been served already! After around 3-5 minutes more, a young lady came with her manager to assist us, we wasn't offered any drinks nor did they appolgise about the long wait.. Then when we left, the gent at the door did not open the door for us or said thank you goodbye, he just stood there blank. This is not a good...
