L'Equinoxe - Brasserie Restaurant — Restaurant in Marseille

I would give zero stars if I could. The website specifies you must call a number to reserve sun loungers in the private beach, which I did. We took a 30€ taxi there and arrived to an empty beach club, with staff relaxing eating their lunch. I was told they did not have our reservation, and then that they were full for the day. They implied that it was my fault for calling the restaurant (and not the beach club) but when I showed them the website indicating I’d called the correct number they acted that it was my fault even though the website is incorrect, because it was not something that happened regularly. I asked if they were friendly with the nearby beach clubs either side and if one of the 5 staff (who were sitting around doing absolutely nothing) could help us find somewhere else to sit. They refused and told me to go ask them myself. In the end we went to the Rhumerie next door where we were warmly greeted, and with a smile and a laugh they acknowledged that this happens ALL the time and that the staff at Equinoxe are known to be lazy and rude. They prefer to say it’s busy so they don’t have to work and can relax 😯 AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Spend a few euros more and enjoy the elegance and service at...

The beach(I mean THIS ONE, right in front of this cafe/bar/restaurant) is soooo beautiful...so nice too, many restaurants. More than SOME other beaches in "Marseille", for sure... They have nice cool chairs &tables, w/a few areas, depending on what you want( eat/drink/maybe a nice view...They are really easy, nice. I never tried eating smthg there OK...Sorry...But we got some REALLY AMAZING COCKTAILS w/my 2 friends, &even some without any alcohol in it... Can you believe that, still awesome :-D( 1 was a Mojito, 1 a Virgin Mojito...tried it, SO good, amazing, mine a virgin Colada (U know, Pina colada lol), so great. So if you can't really drink or drink too much idk...Well it's one of the best cocktails w/nothing inside I ever tried.). It's kinda big, not too too big...But big... With a fun straw,& colorful, pretty FEATHERS, always. I mean idk... right now-right now, that's what...

Hier, j'étais venu manger dans ce restaurant, les serveurs passaient devant moi sans même me dire bonjour ou m'accueillir.. Je finis par appeler un des serveurs pour lui demander où je pouvais m'installer, il m'installe puis repart. J'attends qu'on m'apporte la carte mais aucun d'eux ne vient me voir, alors que je les vois faire des allers-retours, parfois inutiles, discuter entre eux. Je finis par appeler moi même l'un deux pour avoir la carte, et là, le monsieur ne prend même pas la peine de venir me voir, il me répond de loin : "on arrive madame" ... 15 minutes plus tard, je me lève et je pars hyper déçue de l'accueil. Ce soir, je suis quand même retourné manger dans ce restau, je commande un plat contenant des fruits de mer et des moules marinières... Je commence à déguster mon plat, qui n'avait pas l'air pas très frais ... Puis deux jeunes filles arrivent et s'installent à une table proche de la mienne.. Elles ont voulu commander des moules/frites et là j'entends le serveur leur dire " les moules ne sont pas très belles, elles ne sont pas d'aujourd'hui, vous n'allez pas tombées malades en les mangeant mais elles ne sont pas très appétissantes, je vous conseille de prendre autre chose..." Choquée par ce que je viens d'entendre, je me retourne vers lui et lui dis : ben j'espère que je ne tomberai pas malade ! Il me dit mais non, ne vous inquiétez pas !! ...Les moules qu'on m'a servi étaient visiblement cuites et recuites, donc sèches et pas très appétissantes...En sortant du restau mon ventre commence déjà à gonfler, j'en fois chez moi, bonjour la diarrhée !! Comment vous dire que plus jamais je ne remettrai les pieds dans ce restau. L'accueil est nul, certains produits ne sont pas frais, sans parler de l'arnaque puisqu'on m'a compté une bouteille d'eau gazeuse de 1L alors que j'avais consommé une petite bouteille de 50 cL ! Je suis hyper...
