We were looking for somewhere to eat in a relatively empty part of Marseille when we stumbled across some good reviews at this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. It actually turned out to be one of if not the best meal we had during our two week trip in Europe.
This is a true “hidden gem”, a local restaurant tucked in a side street with only 10 or so tables and one server. We didn’t have any wine but it seemed like there was a great selection. The menu was the perfect length of about 15 dishes - a good variety of food, but not too much to choose from as to be overwhelming.
Everything we had was delicious - and we had free unlimited bread to mop up all the sauces, which were definitely the secret weapon of all the dishes, from the tuna tartare to the veal.
