Wok And Rolls Marseille — Restaurant in Marseille

Looking at the earlier reviews we went to explore this restaurant. Waiting time was long, as there was only one person to manage everything. We ordered wok-beef saute and sushi. The food was good. Unfortunately, the food amount was very less compare to the price! The lady was nice though. But, I will not go back for sure!

If you travel to Marseille and would like to enjoy some Japanese food, don’t believe the rating on Google and DO NOT go to this place.

The worst Japanese food I tasted in France. Not authentic. I guess local people cannot really tell the authenticity of any Asian food (I went to several highly rated Chinese restaurants but they were not good either).

Something called ramen but it’s completely different from what I ate in Japan (even can’t be compared with the street food in Osaka). The curry chicken was bad as well (I can cook better with a pack of ready-to-eat curry). The curry is not even sufficient to cover every piece of chicken, and the chicken itself was also not tender at all and...

I had a fantastic dinner at Wok and Rolls, where every dish was a delight. I started with the most delicious gyoza, perfectly pan-fried with a crispy bottom and a juicy, flavorful filling. For the main course, the chicken katsu, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with just the right amount of sauce. But the real stars of the meal were the two sushi rolls I had, fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Each bite was a perfect balance of texture and taste. The restaurant is small and lively, and the service was superbly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot...
