La Voie Maltée — Restaurant in Marseille

Pretty underwhelmed considering the reviews. Yes they have an excellent selection of local beers and many taps. Sadly, no they are not the best beer spot in Marseille. Beer was too cold - which is annoying if you like stouts or anything that is not a larger. Staff didnt really know much about what they were selling and weren't able to tell me about the breweries.

Sure they have cool art and edgy vibes. But i think real beer geeks are going to get a little bit annoyed and prefer...

This place is the pinnacle of craft beer from Marseille and its surrounding towns. They also serve beer from all over France. Manon and Mathieu, the power couple, and dynamic duo of musicians who own the bar are sincere, polite, kind and friendly individuals. Great Beer bar in my favourite area of Marseille. It opened a few months ago, and is obviously doing well. The chalk board lists has some great beers, at reasonable prices. The clientele are nicely mixed, many of whom appear to be locals. The owner and staff create a friendly atmosphere. Plenty of room inside as the customers spill out onto the lively...
